Guys, I do make errors when grading sometimes, so please check daily, we will be using these rules in terms of grading errors:


contest Will Be Graded Daily Most Of The Time.

It Is The Players Responsibility To Check The Standings Every Day. Players Will Have 36 Hours From The Time Of The Standings Post To Report Any Errors. After That, Errors cannot Be Changed. This Rule Will Be Strictly Enforced. It Is Too Difficult To Go Back Days And Weeks And Correct Old Errors.

Please Remember To Check The Standings Daily And Report Any Errors In The Standings Thread Asap.

ERROR POSTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1) copy and paste the post in question into THIS thread.
2) Let me know what the post number was.
3) explain exactly what the error is in detail.

SportSavant, the 36-hour window has passed.... but I just had to let you know about one significant mistake that may have end-of-month ramifications.

Being a perfectionist of some sorts, I *wished* I caught this mistake before I became unavailable for the Memorial Day weekend but while I was finally doing May 23rd results today, I realized there was a problem with May 22nd. Here goes:

FairWarning actually went 1-2 rather than 2-1.

Also, if a poster made a typo in a number where it's *NOT* the number of the opponent and especially if the poster was off by just a few numbers in the last digit, I ignored it and simply used the actual line numbers. There has been only 2 cases that I recall made by any poster, and this ironically had to be one of them. Phillies was really -133 rather than -130. The -133 number should be used as well for grading.

That day, one other poster picked Phillies and it was PO69 and the game was graded -133 as a point.

I show FairWarning in my file as having a -149 day instead of +70 mentioned above, FYI.

Since the 36-hour window has elapsed, just let me know if I need to edit the results in my file as it'd propagate to the following days as I continue to update the last few days.

I just couldn't say nothing even though this is way after the fact... my apologizes in advance if this causes a mess for anyone.

I can only recall that it was something like (either + or -) where someone mistyped 166 while meant to type 169.... or vice versa.

I just read the updates to the other threads as I got home, but let me reply here that I got the -219 difference by:

Instead of +70 as recorded, FW had a -149 day.

PHI -133 lost
TB -116 lost
CWS +100 won

-249 (2 losses) + 100 (1 win) = -149

So that's how I came up with the -219 difference (rather than crediting +70 on the 22nd, it should be a deduction of -149 on the 22nd).
